Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Flex Detail. By booking a service, purchasing a product or using our website, you agree to the terms below.


1. General

Flex Detail provides professional car detailing, cleaning services and related products.

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • you are authorised to make bookings and payments

  • the information you provide is accurate

  • you accept these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.


2. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability.

  • Bookings are only confirmed once payment or deposit is received (if applicable)

  • You must ensure your vehicle is accessible at the agreed time and location

  • Delays caused by the customer may result in reduced service time or rescheduling

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.


3. Pricing

  • All prices are subject to change without notice

  • Prices may vary depending on vehicle size, condition and selected services

  • Additional charges may apply for excessively dirty vehicles or extra services requested on-site

Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins.


4. Payments

  • Payment may be required in full or as a deposit to secure your booking

  • No booking is secured without payment where required

  • All payments are considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions


5. Strict No Refund Policy

All bookings made with Flex Detail are non-refundable.

By confirming your booking, you agree that:

  • payments secure time slots, staff and resources

  • cancellations do not qualify for refunds

  • no refunds will be issued for missed appointments or late cancellations

In accordance with South African consumer law, refunds will only be considered in the following limited circumstances:

  • if Flex Detail is unable to deliver the booked service

  • if the service provided is proven to be materially defective and cannot be reasonably corrected

In such cases, Flex Detail reserves the right to:

  • re-perform the service, or

  • issue a partial or full refund at its discretion


6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Bookings may be rescheduled with sufficient notice (minimum 24 hours)

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of payment

  • We may reschedule due to weather or operational reasons


7. Service Conditions

You agree that:

  • the vehicle will be made available at the agreed time

  • there is sufficient space and access to perform the service

  • we are not responsible for pre-existing damage (scratches, dents, worn interiors, etc.)


8. Results Disclaimer

Detailing improves the condition of your vehicle but does not guarantee:

  • complete removal of stains, scratches or defects

  • restoration of heavily damaged surfaces

Results depend on vehicle condition.


9. Customer Belongings

Please remove all personal items before your appointment.

Flex Detail is not responsible for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.


10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • liability is limited to the value of the service provided

  • we are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages

  • we are not responsible for mechanical or electrical issues unless caused by negligence


11. Products

  • products must be used as intended

  • no returns or refunds on used or opened products

  • any issues must be reported immediately


12. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service if:

  • conditions are unsafe

  • access is not possible

  • behaviour is inappropriate

  • the vehicle poses a risk


13. Water and Power

Where applicable:

  • access to water and/or electricity must be provided unless agreed otherwise

  • additional charges may apply for mobile setups


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
